My first attempt at character sculpting in ZBrush. For my subject matter, I picked mutant bounty hunter, Johnny Alpha, the ‘Strontium Dog’ who appears in the UK’s 2000A.D. comic. I used the original character design by artist, Carlos Esquerra, as my initial reference and then took him in a more realistic direction.
